It's Apple season! Use your favourite apple to create this easy and delicious dessert by Frank Sarro.
Peel, core and quarter the apple then slice into about ¼ inch (1CM) pieces
Heat butter in pan over medium heat. Add apples and stir to coat with butter. Continue to cook until the edges just start to soften.
Add all the rest of the ingredients. Continue to cook over med to high heat until the apples are translucent or to your liking. It’s not always needed but I have used a splash of water and a lid to help steam the apples on occasion
