Pineapple Avocado Salsa

This Fresh Pineapple Herb Salsa is bright, juicy, and naturally vibrant. Sweet ripe pineapple is balanced with fresh herbs, gentle heat, and citrus, then finished with creamy avocado for a soft, rich contrast. It is a refreshing dip on its own. But, also flavour-forward addition to grilled proteins, seafood, or nourishing bowls. This salsa is rich in vitamin C from pineapple and lime to support immune health, antioxidants from fresh herbs to help reduce inflammation, and healthy fats from avocado to support satiety and nutrient absorption!

  • 2 cups ripe pineapple, diced small
  • 1 small red bell pepper, diced small
  • 1 small jalapeno, seeded and finely diced (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro, packed
  • 1/4 cup mint, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp green onion tops, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (adjust to taste)
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 avocado, diced small

Prep Time 15 mins
  1. In a medium bowl, combine pineapple, bell pepper, jalapeno, cilantro, mint, green onion, lime juice, lime zest, and salt.
  2. Toss gently until well combined.
  3. Fold in diced avocado just before serving.
  4. Taste and adjust lime juice and jalapeno as needed. Serve fresh!
