Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 1 Tablespoon dried hibiscus
- 2 inch piece of ginger
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Cup oat milk or alternative (More likely to curdle if using full fat milk)
- 1 Teaspoon dark maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
How To Make It
- Add ginger and cinnamon to a small pot. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
- Add the dried hibiscus to the pot, cover and let steep for 2 minutes. Note: steeping more than 2 minutes could curdle the milk.
- While the ingredients are steeping, heat up the milk to desired temperature.*
- Strain the piece of ginger, cinnamon, and dried herbs.
- Add steeped mixture and heated milk to a mug
- Add maple syrup, stir and enjoy
- *Try an iced version! Skip heating up the milk and add some ice
