Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 1 Tablespoon dried hibiscus
  • 2 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Cup oat milk or alternative (More likely to curdle if using full fat milk)
  • 1 Teaspoon dark maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
Servings 1
Prep Time 5 min
How To Make It
  1. Add ginger and cinnamon to a small pot. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus to the pot, cover and let steep for 2 minutes. Note: steeping more than 2 minutes could curdle the milk.
  3. While the ingredients are steeping, heat up the milk to desired temperature.*
  4. Strain the piece of ginger, cinnamon, and dried herbs.
  5. Add steeped mixture and heated milk to a mug
  6. Add maple syrup, stir and enjoy
  7. *Try an iced version! Skip heating up the milk and add some ice
