Grilled Peaches with Brown-Sugar Oat Crumble

These delicious grilled peaches topped with brown-sugar oat crumble are the perfect dessert for the summertime! Easy to make and packed with flavour with just a few simple ingredients.

For the Brown-Sugar Oat Crumble Topping

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

For the Peaches

  • 4 peaches, pitted and cut in half
  • olive oil
  • maple syrup for drizzling
Servings 4 (2 peach halves per person)

  1. Make the brown-sugar oat crumble: Mix all of the brown-sugar oat crumble topping ingredients together, spread the mixture as an even layer on a baking sheet and broil on low for 2-3 minutes until bubbling. Use a spoon or spatula to scrape / mix up the oats a bit and then set aside to cool.
  2. Grill the peaches: Once peaches are pitted and halved, preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and brush the peach halves with olive oil. When the grill is preheated, grill the peaches for 4-5 minutes or until char marks appear, then flip and grill another 3-4 minutes until the peaches are just tender.
  3. Remove the peaches from the grill and drizzle generously with maple syrup. Serve warm topped with the brown-sugar oat crumble.
  4. Note: Top these with vanilla ice cream for a more decadent dessert!
