Secrest Organic Produce grows on land leased form Covert Farms, a Certified Organic Farm in Oliver BC that has been around since 1959 & became organic around the turn of the century when Gene, the 3rd generation farmer took over.
In 2014, when Gene decided to shift his efforts to organic winemaking, he leased organic land to Terry Grewal and Secrest Organic Produce planted their roots on around 60 acres.
In addition to being organic, they also embrace biodynamic and permaculture farming methods. Biodynamic farming is a holistic and ethical approach to farming where plants, animals, soil and compost live in harmony with Mother Nature and everything around it.
Terry is our largest Farm Direct provider of ground crops offering us a great range of products such as Beans, Beets, Cabbage, Corn, Cucumbers, Garlic, Grapes, Melons, Onions, Peas, Peppers, Squash, Tomatoes, Strawberries & Zucchini.
