Mulled Apple Cider

This warm and comforting drink is perfect for the Holiday Season. Not only does it fill your house will all those amazing aromas, it is super easy to make.

Buy a mulling spice blend or make your own with spices such as clove, star anise, cinnamon sticks, allspice berries, and cardamom. Add cranberries, orange and apple slices as a garnish

  • 2 litres apple cider
  • 1 medium orange, sliced
  • 1 medium apple, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 2 tbsp mulling spice blend
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

How to Make It


In a large pot, add the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, and mulling spice blend. Mix together, then add the sliced orange, apples, and cranberries. Be sure to save a few slices of apples and oranges and cranberries for the garnish.


Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer over medium low heat and continue to simmer with the lid slightly ajar for 20 minutes. You can simmer for longer if you want a more intense flavor.


Strain through a piece of cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer, then return to the pot. Ladle into mugs, garnish, and enjoy!
