Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
1 large head of cauliflower, leaves removed
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp MCT coconut oil
Preheat oven to 450 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
With the leaves removed, slice cauliflower lengthwise into 1 inch “steak” pieces. You should get at least 4 pieces plus the rounded ends.
Add the coconut oil and the spices together in a small bowl to create a marinade.
Place the cauliflower steaks on the lined baking sheet. Drizzle half the marinade over the steaks. Flip them over and drizzle the remaining marinade over them. Use your hands to spread the marinade evenly over the cauliflower so they are coated.
Bake for 10 minutes on one side, flip and bake for another 10 minutes until the steaks start to get a little golden brown.
Transfer the steaks to a plate and serve with Chimichurri Sauce (optional).
