In 1996, a tiny sandwich shop opened in downtown Toronto, called Pita Break. As Pita Break grew more popular, it became a family-owned bakery that began selling flatbreads to local health food stores. Demand increased, and soon, Pita Break had opened its own commercial bakery. In 2016, the business turned 20, and the owners, the Ozery family, decided to put their family name on everything they make.
